Welcome to the Rotary Club of Boroondara

The Rotary Club of Boroondara is the most recently established Rotary Club in Boroondara and was chartered on June 28th, 2002.

Our club was formed as a "new style" Rotary Club.  Our meeting times and formats aim to provide a format that caters for busy professional people. Our members are an enthusiastic group of men and women that have decided to make a contribution to their local and the international community through the many services and programs provided by Rotary.

Our members are drawn from a broad range or professions and our regular fellowship activities provide opportunities to meet and network with like-minded individuals.

Several Projects have been completed with some notable successes to date: the Top Spin Raffle, a fund-raising Speed Dating night, Trivia Night in support of the Camberwell Multiple Birth Association and fund-raising support for various other local groups, including Kids Helpline, Kids Tennis, Riding for the Disabled and the Alfred Hospital Burns Unit. These projects have coincided with guest speakers from these organisation who came to speak about the good work done.

2007-08 Theme: Rotary Shares

If one strong common thread exists among our 1.2 million members, it is our willingness to share.

Rotarians share their time, their talents, their expertise, and their money to successfully carry out projects that tackle a vast range of humanitarian

and social issues. They share their compassion, their

enthusiasm, and their commitment to help those in need and make the world better. And they share an unparalleled passion for service that has made

Rotary the world’s premiere service organization.
