BONSAI CLASSES

The MORNINGTON PENINSULA BONSAI SOCIETY Inc conducts classes for people wishing to learn the ancient art of bonsai.

These classes are an introduction to bonsai. The classes are ideal for the complete novice or person with limited experience.  More experienced persons wishing to review their skills could also benefit from the classes.

Classes are conducted by Mr John Rash.  John is a very experienced Bonsai grower and tutor.  He conducts classes at various venues across Victoria including the Council for Adult Education (CAE).

The classes are limited to 10 participants and consist of 5 nights commencing at 7.00pm and ending at 10.00pm.  Bookings are on a first to register and pay basis.

COST FOR BOTH BEGINNERS AND ADVANCED CLASSES   

           Society Members                 $50.00

           Non Members                      $75.00

Material cost approximately $25 per tree for the beginners class only.  Details provided at first lesson.

2007 classes

BEGINNERS

The 2007 BEGINNERS class will be held on Wednesday evenings 11th, 18th, 25th April, 2nd and 9th May.

The first lesson is bonsai theory with the remaining three lessons practical work.  At the end of the course participants will have produced one or more bonsai.

 

 

ADVANCED CLASS

The 2007 ADVANCED class will be held Wednesday 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st October 2007.

 

 

Depending upon interest other classes may be held
