The Sanctuary is owned by the City of Whitehorse which has appointed an Advisory Committee of interested local resident volunteers to assist in the enhancement, maintenance and promotion of, particularly the environmental & ecological values of the Sanctuary.
This is achieved by volunteers through regular working bees, Newsletter, education programs, preparation and presentation of displays and talks at the Visitor Centre.
The Visitor Centre is open 2pm to 4pm Sunday afternoons (volunteers willing).
