Try to have an honest conversation with some men
- as EQUALS -
And hear the macho gates shut:

“I’m in charge here!”     CLICK

“I won’t show my feelings!”    CLICK

“It will be as I say!”              CLICK


No wonder women weep
The frustration of CLICK, CLICK, CLICK
Each time she tries to speak
To his heart.

He is blocked by fear
Of losing control - CLICK -
Of appearing vulnerable - CLICK -
Of sharing his power - CLICK, CLICK, CLICK.

The only CLICK
I want to hear
Is the sound of two hearts joining,

Or the door
As you leave me
SO
ALONE.
