In Middle Park By the sea
Guruji We have come to see
Voices blend In unison
Room reverberating With devotion

From side to side They gently sway
A lovely start To a brand new day
Sanskrit words From long ago
Give to the ear A meditative flow

The harmonium player wears A dark red shawl
Pictures of gurus Adorn the wall
Nityananda leads us On the drum
The whole of the chant Exceeds the sum

Then it's all over And silence reigns
Just the noise of meditating brains
