Forget high technologies for inducing meditation!

Earlier on this lovely autumn afternoon
On a bench I sat beside a tranquil river
And in a relaxed way watched
The surface of the water

Ripples glide, shadows slide
All across the river wide

Here it's ruffled by a puffing breeze
Sit back, relax in luxurious ease

No need to repeat any mantra
No need to listen to a special tape
Through stereo headphones

Before one, as one gazes,
Is a smorgasboard of rhythm
A gigantic tapestry of vibration

And all the would-be meditator need do
Is to let go,
Tap in to the dance of light and shade,
And be meditated.
