Cemetery Tours

Box Hill Cemetery is located at 395 Middleborough Road, Box Hill (Melways 47 F10). There are five pedestrian gates to the cemetery. Although cars can enter the cemetery on weekdays there is limited parking available within the cemetery grounds.

Tours through Box Hill Cemetery are conducted by members of the Box Hill Historical Society - the tours last approximately 2 hours.
The cost is $10 per adult with refreshments included. Children $6. Group bookings can be arranged.

General Tour:
includes prominent business and professional people such as Sidney Myer, C.J. Dennis and William Angliss.

Pioneers Tour:
some of the early pioneers of the City of Whitehorse are included in this tour

Creative / Artists Tour:
includes Joy Hester, Borovansky, J. Grainger and J.A. Turner

Our Sporting Legends Tour:
many sports are represented by people on this tour - motor racing, football, cricket, horse racing

Women of Substance Tour:
includes veterinary surgeon Isabelle Reid, civil rights activist Doris Blackburn and temperance advocate Maria Kirk
