The Box Hill Art Group is a community painting and drawing group open to anyone from 17 to 107. It began in 1952 making it one of the oldest such groups in suburban Melbourne.

BHAG is one of the "Regular Users" of the Box Hill Community Arts Centre, situated at 470 Station Street, Box Hill.

Membership of the group is $40.00 per year.
Classes are $130.00 for Term 1 and $135 for Terms 2, 3 and 4. Classes are for 2 hours per week.

BHAG caters for both beginners (Student members) and experienced artists (Exhibiting members).

Exhibiting members can submit paintings to all of the groups exhibitions and their works are included in the judging of all awards and competitions run by the BHAG except those for student members only. Also they may attend the workshops on Wednesdays and all of the social events.

Student members enjoy all of these opportunities and also attend at least one of the tutored classes.
