Season 2009

The BSO, conducted by their new musical director, Rohan Phillips, will present four Sunday afternoon concerts throughout 2009.
To begin the season we join with the Bendigo Chorale (the choir Rohan directed for ten years) to perform Haydn's Mass in time of War, after which we travel to The Capital for a concert featuring Dvořák’s rarely heard Piano Concerto.
Our Classical Showcase features Mozart and Haydn (2009 marks the 200th anniversary of Haydn's death), with Pam Scott performing Haydn's violin concerto in G, and the final concert of the year will be a Christmas celebration: built around Baroque favourites, this concert also promises a surprise or two!

Please contact the orchestra to be receive reminders and other updates throughout the year: email BendigoSymphony@hotmail.com
