Annual membership fees

There is a once only joining fee of $15.00 and an annual fee of $40 for single person and $55 for a couple. Membership fees are due June 1st each year.

Benefits of being a member
Upon joining the Group you will receive a New Members Pack and will be welcomed and listed in the next newsletter.
All members receive a copy of the Group's quarterly publication 'Roses and Thorns' as well as a monthly update.
All members have access to a variety of resource materials, including micro fiche, member's experiences, CD ROMs, magazines, books and a host of other materials.

Within the Group a great feeling of teamwork and community pride exists. The group has many reciprocal rights with other Genealogy MAGAZINE member groups.

The Group holds competitions, arranges excursions and tours to local and district historical sites and places of interest.

Meetings Program
                                    
The Annual General Meeting is held in May of each year. (This is on the 4th Wednesday of the month)

General Meetings
All General Meetings or gatherings are held on the last Wednesday night of each month at 4:30 pm. There are no general meetings in the winter months of June, July and August. These get togethers are a lot of fun and may include a special guest, competitions and information nights. Committee members.
 
These meetings are held at St Andrew's Primary Church Hall, Church Street – Benalla.

General meetings are informal gatherings of members. The public and visitors alike are always most welcome and encouraged to attend anytime. These evenings provide an opportunity of sharing social time together. Often the Group will source a guest speaker and members learn a variety of things from them.
Throughout the year the Group will arrange for people to come and share their knowledge and instruct members on the use of computers, the Internet and software programs. These are invaluable opportunities and are much appreciated by the members.

Committee Meetings
Committee meetings are primarily for the members of the committee but all members are welcome to attend. The committee meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 1:30pm.
