Statement of Purposes and Rules
This is the club constitution in accordance with the incorporation rules.
Race Controller Duties
This document has been prepared by our regular Race Control Officer (RCO)
for the guidance of club members acting as RCO in the absence of regular staff.
Oustanding Member Award selection
The club recognises that there are members who work and act on behalf of the club in an outstanding manner. These members should be recognised and the “Outstanding Member” award is one way this is achieved.

Club Policies
Bendigo Yacht Club is committed to the health, safety and general well being of all its members. Equally it is committed to the goals of equity and diversity. It aims to provide an environment for the sailing community that fosters fairness, equity, and respect for social and cultural diversity, and that is free from unlawful discrimination, harassment and vilification. The following policies have been adopted by the club.

The club has endorsed the Yachting Australia Member Protection Policy.

Location
The club is located in Sunset Drive at the northern side of Lake Eppalock about 20 km south of Bendigo.
From Bendigo take the "Eppalock Road" out through Strathfieldsaye. When you are near the lake you will go around a sweeping right hand bend and past a kiosk and entry to the swimming area. 200 metres past that there is a road off to the left (Sunset drive). Turn left and the entrance to the Club is about 400m on your left.
From Melbourne you can travel up the Northern and McIvor Highways (turn off at Knowsley) or the Calder Highway(turn off at Kyneton). It is about 1.5 hours from the CBD.
