Gentle Exercises for Older Adults to Music
with Stan
Both men and women can join this group
to be led by our registered instructor through gentle stretching
exercises to music. Nothing too strenuous!
Gentle exercises can give you more energy, improved mobility,
improved cardiovascular efficiency plus improved muscular
strength and joint flexibility.
It is also fun and enjoyable with opportunities for socialising
and friendship, with many exercisers staying for a cuppa.

with Arnold
Pamper yourself with a therapeutic
massage. Great for anxiety, muscle tension and poor circulation.
Arnold is an Australian Traditional Medicine Society
Practitioner.

Seniors on the Move
with Mary
Join this gentle chair-based exercise
group to keep yourself flexible. It is important for seniors to
keep good mobility to avoid falls.
Fun and enjoyable, with the opportunity to socialise afterwards.

Strength Training with Sandra (Kinect
registered)
Improve muscle strength, balance and
mobility through a series of exercises using small dumbbells and
leg weights.
Strength training is an effective means of preserving bone
density and can also give you more energy, improved
cardiovascular efficiency and increased joint flexibility.
Dates: Monday, 12th October - 14th

Walking Group
This group of walkers leaves the House
each week for a walk along Gardiner's Creek. Walkers enjoy
unhurried walking, and can split into groups going at your own
comfortable pace.
Dates: Every Wednesday in term
Time: 9.30 am start from the House with short circuit approx. 75
mins. Long circuit 90 min

Yoga with
Janie
Relax your mind and body and increase
wellbeing by learning the principles of Hatha Yoga from our
qualified tutor.
Please wear loose clothing, e.g. leggings, track pants, T- shirt
(no shorts). Bring a mat to lie on, plus a blanket & pillow for
relaxation.
