Abbey Girls of Victoria

Fans of the books of Elsie J. Oxenham are welcome to join the club with a group of likeminded book-a-holics.
We all share a love of old school girl novels (and don't mind a bit of a chat).
Meetings involve lunch, afternoon tea, an interesting activity and occasional English dancing.

Asian Cooking Demonstration - Spice Night

Milton, former chef of Rosie's Asian Kitchen, will demonstrate how to cook 3 dishes:
Hot & Sour Soup, Szechuan Chicken, and Char Kway Teow.
Then enjoy these dishes for dinner.

Learn to cook like a pro, and impress your family and friends with your new cooking abilities.

Library Day - Borrow & Read (Novels & Magazines)

Check out our book shelves, with a large collection of novels and magazines. Stay and read with a cuppa, or BYO lunch and also borrow a book or magazine to take home to read and return.
We also have a collection of videos and board games available for borrowing.

Mah-jong

A friendly group of women and men play this ancient Chinese game and are willing to show you how to play.

Monstar Music Live Performance

Directed by our singing teacher Greg van Bergen, "ememsix" explores the lives of 16 characters as they experience love & betrayal, friends & enemies, joy & sadness, life & death. 

Featuring songs from well-known musicals including Mamma Mia!, Xanadu, Aida, The Lion King, Avenue Q and We Will Rock You.

Parent/Child Group

 

A number of parent-run playgroups meet weekly at the House, allowing parents to catch up while their kids play and develop social skills. The House is equipped with a range of outdoors play equipment as well as indoor toys and games.

Solo

Join this group of women and men who play this enjoyable card game in a relaxed and friendly environment.
