Last year's inaugural Bendigo Olive Fiesta was a great success, attracting approximately 1,250 people from Regional Victoria, Melbourne and from interstate" said Terry Dalwood, Chairman of the organising committee.
Saturday night focuses on the gala dinner, which will be held at the Function Centre at the Bendigo Pottery and will be hosted by award-winning TV producer/presenter and dedicated food explorer, Joanna Savill. She was also the co -creator of the SBS TV series Food Lovers Guide to Australia.
"The Fiesta celebrates the role of the Bendigo Goldfields as the central focus of Victoria's emerging Olive Industry. Our warm, dry summers and cool winters mimic the famous Mediterranean climate and provide the basis for ideal growing conditions" said Mr. Dalwood
