
Below is a list of some of the projects that the Rotary Club of Bendigo Sandhurst has undertaken:

The Federation picnic

Catering for drivers and families for more than 400 veteran, vintage and classic cars.
It was held at Marong, just 20 minutes from Bendigo, created great fellowship.

Bendigo Business Excellence Awards

These promote excellence in Bendigo business. The Awards raised $45,000 in sponsorship,
some of which was allocated to a special Youth Project in Bendigo.

Art and Craft Market

This is held once a month, and raises significant funds for the Club.

Organ Donor project

The Club has supported this project via promotion in the local media.

Men's Health

The Club constructed and manned a stand at the local shopping centre to promote public
awareness.

Australia Day Celebrations

Each year the Club runs very successful celebrations at Lake Weroona.
In 2001, this event was attended by all local politicians and a Mayoral party. The guest of
honor was Max Walker.

Rotaract Sponsorship

The Rotaract Club was chartered on 10th February, 2001 and is 20 members strong.

East Timor Project

The Club actively supported this worthy cause.

Relay for Life

The Club actively supported this worthy cause.

Dog in a Ute Promotion

This promotion aims to raise money for juvenile diabetes and local charities. The Club supported this promotion.

Camp Gateway

The Club provides ongoing support to Camp Gateway.

Youth Exchange

This includes RYLA, RYPEN, MUNA, and the adoption of two colleges to help promote these projects.
