Trip bookings: Email or contact the leader prior to the event. This must be three days before for day walks and seven days prior for overnight or extended walks.
Visitors fees: $3 per person or $5 per family payable to leader at start of trip.
Travel costs: Where possible the club aims to share travelling to limit the number of vehicles used. It is club policy that travel costs be shared at 24c per kilometre per vehicle.
Wet Weather Gear
Walk leaders are concerned about the inadequate wet weather gear brought on walks by some members. A waterproof coat must be in your pack on all walks, summer or winter, and should be either mid thigh or knee length with a hood. Parkas, shower jackets and plastic raincoats or ponchos afford little or no protection and are unacceptable. In the event of an incident with inappropriate protective clothing the club could be held liable and there most likely would be no insurance cover for the member.
