Statement Of Purposes

The protection and enhancement of the natural environment through Wildlife rescue service, foster carers and shelters.

(a)    To provide best practice in Wildlife rescue, care/rehabilitation and release

(b)    To provide training and encourage skills and knowledge sharing within a supporting network

(c)    Education of the general public in co-habitation with our native Wildlife

(d)    To collate data from the Association

(e)    To consult with local government and other Wildlife groups for the benefit of Wildlife

Our Aims And Objectives

To support the wildlife of the surrounding area through rescue service, foster care, wildlife shelters and species monitoring.

To provide a friendly wildlife group that does not encourage political behaviour.

To provide an environment to encourage skill and knowledge sharing with a support network.

To provide a local community base for all people interested in the protection of the indigenous wildlife species.

To provide a training base that teaches the correct techniques for wildlife rehabilitation management through workshops, seminars and conferences.

To enable funding to be shared amongst all registered foster carers and wildlife members who care for indigenous wildlife.

To seek support and sponsorship of the following:

  • Funding for our 24 hour hotline
  • Wildlife rescue vehicle with full rescue equipment
  • Mobile bushfire and oiled seabird triage centre
  • Start a 24 hour Wildlife Rescue Centre

To ensure all indigenous wildlife stays in its own territory.

To cover the Bayside 'sand belt' area.
