| Sandringham College
In 1993, Sandringham students performed the musical "Friends", hosted by the King's Lynn & West Norfolk-Bayside (Sandringham), Australia Friendship Association. This led to return visits in 1995 and 1997 when they established a twin-school relationship with Springwood High School. 1997 also saw their first performance in the grounds of Sandringham House, Queen Elizabeth's summer residence in Norfolk. Sandringham College had the privilege of hosting a visit by its Sister school, Springwood, in July 2002. A visit by Sandringham College to King's Lynn is planned for 2003. |
Brighton Secondary
College
Brighton Secondary College has an exchange program with Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. This important Japanese city does not yet have an Australian partner. Students, most from Tokoname Kita Senior High School, travel under the auspices of the Tokoname International Friendship Association for Youth, and stay with local families for 8 or 9 days. Brighton Secondary College students travel to Japan every second year, and besides touring for ten days, spend a week with their Tokoname friends. |
