This year the committee selected the historic Briars Homestead at Mount Martha on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula as the location for the Bay Rodders Christmas Party. And as it turned out they could not have picked a better spot. The day was very hot and the area that was set aside for us had huge oak trees which gave ample shade.
As usual the club BBQ trailer was put to good use and I'm sure no one went home hungry. The egg and spoon races nicely rounded out the afternoon and gave the kids (big and little) a chance to vent their excitement.
Thanks to the committee, and all those who helped on the day. And a special thanks to Santa and Santa's helper for making the big trip from the North (Dandenong) Pole.
