Monash Xmas party 2007

Bay Rodders supports Ronald McDonald House - Monash by helping to sponsor their Christmas Party. For those that aren't aware of the program, Ronald McDonald Houses are attached to major women’s or children’s hospitals and provide accommodation to families enabling them to stay together as a unit to support their sick child receiving hospital treatment. Any of the kids that have come through the house for that year get invited to the Christmas Party. We also give the kids as many rides in the hot rods as they want! In past years we have sponsored a ride for at the event, but this year the club presented Ronald McDonald House with a cheque for $500-00 as well as making the rods available for rides.

There has been some feed back from the families that attended, one such letter was from Cathy, she writes...........

Hi,My name is Cathy and for the second time in as many years I met some of your members yesterday who volunteered their time at the Ronald McDonald House Christmas Party. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We have four children, two of whom are in and out of hospitals all year and your group put smiles on our faces that are still there and fond memories which will help us get through the next year. Please let them know how very grateful we are for their time (and cars :) ) and we so very much hope to see them next year.......... Please, please come next year!!!!! My children have not stoppped talking about it (nor has my husband!!!)And thank you again to all the wonderful people yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!Happy Christmas,Best wishes,Cathy
