HOT RODS IN THE HIGH COUNTRY

ASRF Sanctioned Event.

Bay Rodders sent out an invite to all Hot Rodders to join them in Mansfield as part of the Mansfield Shires Spring Arts Festival for a low key, laid back weekend. There was no entry fee and it was a pay as you go week end.

Friday night was a BYO bench session at Mansfield lakeside ski village.

Saturday was registration at the Mansfield information center on Maroondah hwy Followed by a cruise up to Mt Buller.

The grouop had lunch at Cattlemans restaurant for lunch and admire the views from Mt Bulla. Saturday night was a cruise in the main street with plenty of eatery on the side walks to sit at and eat while watching the rods cruise around.

Sunday was a show and shine in Mansfield Botanical Park.

The winner of the show and shine was.

 

As with any rod run there is always someone working flat out to get their car finished in time for the cruise. One such was Peter Fitzpatrick who finished his rod a day late to get the plates. He intends to be at Bright with his great looking ride.
