Easy 30 km Sat 20 Pakenham to Gembrook Loop Start loop ride at Pakenham Station and ride via back roads to a much civilised lunch at Charlottes on Main cafe. Some easy/medium climbs on unsealed roads. Very picturesque scenery. Easy/Medium About 60 km Sat 27 Studley Park Boat House We revisit the “other” boat house for variety. Ride loops via trails from East Malvern Station. Tiffin anyone? Easy 30 km April 2010Sun 4 (This is Easter weekend) Sightseeing in GeelongCatch 9am train to Geelong from Southern Cross return time depends on the day. This will be a tour of the sites of Geelong including the older streets of Geelong. Bring your bike lock as we will be leaving the bikes at times. Easy 30km Wed 7 General Meeting at Mordialloc Neighbourhood House 8pm Sat 10 Mordy to Cranbourne Easy 36km Sat 17 Cobbledick’s Ford Train to Watergarden and back from Werribee. Bring lunch. Some gravel roads mostly bitumen. Med 50km Sat 24 Sunbury Ride Train to Watergardens. Visit Organ Pipe National Park and Historic Victoria University. There are some hills and the ride is mostly on quiet roads. Train back from Broadmeadows. Med/Hard 60km May 2010Sat 1 Carrum to BaxterStart at Carrum Station 9am. Option to ride back or catch the train. Easy or Med 30km each way Wed 5 General Meeting at Mordialloc Neighbourhood House 8pm Sat 8 Bayswater to Dandenong All on bike paths and a lot of downhill. Optional extension to Mordialloc. Easy 40km Optional 20km Sat 15 Moonee Ponds Creek Jacana to South Bank via the Moonee Ponds Creek Optional extension to ride home. Easy 30km Sat 22 Glen Iris to Oakleigh via Glen Waverly This is a combination of roads and trails and is a new ride. Med 45km Sat 29 Meals on Wheels Coffee Shop Ride Starts at Mordialloc Station and finishes at the Mordialloc shops after travelling around Mordialloc following Steve’s Meals on Wheels route.
