Michael Voss

BRISBANE LIONS

Michael Voss is clearly one of the young superstars of the AFL. He became one of the youngest players to play in the AFL when he made his debut in 1992 at the age of 17. A midfielder/utility with top skills he also became one of the leagues youngest captains, sharing the position with team mate Alistar Lynch. Voss has matured beyond his years and in 95 and 96, won back-to-back Best and Fairest awards, then in 96 he won a Brownlow Medal, sharing this honour with James hird. As a young player and a terrific leader, Michael Voss has already gained many football honours, yet he still has so much more football to play.
