Peter Matera

WEST COAST EAGLES

Peter Matera is an outstanding wingman/half-back, who rips forward lines apart. He has tremendous speed and agression and one of the main features of his games is his dashing runs and penertrating kicks. When the chips are down and the pressures on Matera is one player that can always be relied on, this was proven in the 1992 Grand Final when Matera turned it on to help his team win their fist Premiership. For his hard work, He was awarded the Norm Smith Medal. West Coast Eagle supporters love him, the opposition love to hate him, either way Peter Matera will always be held in the highest regards in the AFL.
