SHANNONS ROAD, BARRINGO Macedon Ranges Shire Council |
Grey kangaroos, black wallabies, echidnas, ring-tail and brush-tail possums are frequently seen at the reserves. Koalas and sugar gliders are occasionally seen.
Update: (2005) Two sugar gliders were seen at night in the Pony Club license area of the council reserve.
Update (28 October, 2007) Two koalas were seen in the Grasstree Nature Conservation Area of the council reserve.
Update (5 November 2010) 6 hair funnel samples sent to Barbara Triggs and 5 came back with positive id for Antechinus agilis.
