Welcome to Balmoral

Nestled in Red Gum country to the west of the Grampians, lies the small historic hamlet of Balmoral. Being so close to the Glenelg River , Rocklands Reservoir and the State and National Parks, Balmoral is the perfect place to go bush walking, bird watching, camping or just going for a scenic drive. The area is famous for its fishing, trout and redfin are abundant throughout the local waterways.

The town loves it sports and gives the townsfolk plenty of variety such as tennis, lawn bowls, netball, swimming, and is home to the Harrow-Balmoral Football Club. Balmoral is renowned for its picturesque 18 hole golf course sculpted out of native bushland along Rocklands Road . Its springtime abundance of wattle blossom and native wildflowers, with colourful bird life and kangaroos, is a must for any nature lover.
