About 30km S of Perth - just S of the Albany Hwy, South-West Hwy intersection. Ph: 08 9399 6376. (Pet policy unknown.)

Very friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff offered tourist advice, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money ($30 2A per night, powered, peak season). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Inadequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, shade to some sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, dump point, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5). Peaceful, open & roomy park, not enough shade, too many permanents. Clean UC gas bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. Clean pool, tables and chairs provided, toddlers catered for. Suitable for month or longer, suitable for families, well maintained park
Likes: the whole friendliness on the permanents and tourists. It made it feel like home, having lived in caravan parks on and off for the last 39 years this would rate as one of the most friendliest I have been to.
Dislikes: not the parks fault but due to location near the escarpment strong winds at night, but the sites do seem to get some protection. We were warned by all the permanents to be aware which was a big plus.
Parking: as you come up to the office parking bay available
Local Information: close to shops and facilities. Bus available to train etc.

The park is mainly permanents with limited tourist sites. It is advisable to book ahead. The sites consist of three slabs for car, van and annexe. Friendly staff. Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to all sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided. Inadequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, concrete annex slabs to most sites, shade to most sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5). Quiet, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, too many permanents. Clean UC gas bbq, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. Clean pool, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for a week or more, well maintained park.

28 kms N of Perth, turn off Wanneroo Road 5 kms N of Wanneroo or 25 kms S of Yanchep. 35 Ocean Parade. Up the Mitchell Hwy to the end turn left into Hodges, right into Marmion, then left into Burns Beach Road and to the end. Ph: 08 9395 5000. Pets allowed, on leash at all times.

Manager's name is Mike and Wade. Fantastic location overlooking the ocean with cycle/walkway along beach. The majority of the park is made up of park homes for retirees with about 15 sites for caravans and campers. The sites are very tight to get into. We would have rated the park higher except we had 'three yobbos' sharing a tent next to our site who were extremely noisy all hours of the night every night with no consideration for their neighbours. Us and two other campers complained to management who were reluctant to do anything as the 'yobbo's were tradies doing work on the park so basically we had to put up with it. We were paying top dollar and management's lack of action was unacceptable. Average staff friendliness, bad staff response to complaints, staff helped us at the site Reasonable value for money ($37 2A, powered, shoulder season). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is very good, there was adequate hot water, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Inadequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, concrete annex slabs to some sites, very few sites are shaded, hard to negotiate into site, adequate taps close by. You can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5). Noisy, claustrophobic park, not enough shade, a few permanents. No playground, no pool. Suitable for a week or more, well maintained park.
Likes: Proximity to beach. The location is spectacular overlooking the ocean with cycleway for walking, riding etc.
Dislikes: Noisy neighbours and managements reluctance to do anything about them. Dry area in shower got wet and pressure (in ladies) was variable.
Local Information: Close to train station to get to the city and Fremantle. Proximity to shopping centres.

Report submitted by Hansens around Oz (56).

Manager's name is Mike Newman. We last stayed here in 2006 and this is an update on that report. A delightful park right on the beach. This is mainly a retirement village, but does have 15 tourist sites, (6 ensuite and 9 powered) and there are also some cabins available. This park is close to public transport with a bus stop right outside the park making it very easy to get to the local shopping centres, train station, Perth city and also Fremantle. We have stayed here many times before and the service and standard is always high. The office is closed from 1 - 3.30 so would advise that you do not arrive between those times. If you stay 7 nights you pay for 6. Friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Price was as expected, reasonable value for money ($32 2A per night, powered, off-peak season). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, all level sites, good night lighting, average sized sites, concrete annex slabs, hard to negotiate into site, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, no rec room, kiosk, disabled facilities, dump point. Peaceful, open and roomy, not enough shade, family/friendly atmosphere. Clean UC gas bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground, no pool. Suitable for month or longer, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Likes: Very nice clean park with beach front location facing west for some super sunsets
Dislikes: Amenities too far from all sites. Cleaning takes place between 9 and 10 which is most inconvenient as there is no other toilet facility available.
Parking: Outside reception
Local Information: A Latte set cafe right next door which does lovely breakfasts. There is a scenic coastal cycle/walkway that goes right past the park. For the very energetic we believe this path leads right to Fremantle, but we have never done it
Roads: Good

This is a nice park but there is a little aircraft noise from the nearby airport. They charge a lot for children to stay but fortunately we got a good deal. Friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff offered tourist advice, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money ($42 2A 2C per night, powered, off-peak season). We paid $26 because we had a 4 for 3 nights discount from BIG4 and may have been under charged for kids. Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes or 5th wheelers, annex slabs to some sites, some sites are shaded, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, car wash, dump point, secure entry, wireless internet is available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4). Quiet, open and roomy, a few permanents. Good playground in good condition. Clean pool. Suitable for families.
Likes: Good clean park, but would have been expensive but for discount.
Dislikes: Aircraft noise.

A big park very professionally run, a fair number of permanents. Powered van sites were either concrete slabs in traditional compact sites or a grassed area which was shady and a bit more relaxed which we used. Friendly staff, staff offered tourist advice, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money ($33 2A, off-peak season). We paid $30 because of BIG4 Member. Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, some unlevel sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, shade to most sites, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, kiosk, disabled facilities, car wash, dump point, secure entry, van parking Peaceful, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, a few permanents. Clean UC gas bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground in good condition. Clean pool is shaded, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Likes: Close to Perth (14km) and also Perth Airport (5 km), adjacent to historic Guildford which is the entry to the Swan Valley, adjoining vineyards and overall a nice location.
Dislikes: A lot of permanents but in neat bungalow style, the park is very well run so the overall standard was high.
Parking: Park lane is provided
Local Information: Guildford is a very nice town about 5 minutes away and also the adjacent wineries offer lots of dining options.
Roads: Good roads and access

Report submitted by Greg McTernan (4).

Park has a large number of 'park homes' and other permanents, and a relatively small number of tourist sites. Some powered and unpowered sites are on a lovely grass area at the front of the park exposed to all the road noise and miles from the facilities, others are scattered around with annex slabs. We had an ensuite site, reasonable ensuite with good size shelf for unpacking onto, towel rails and hooks. Shower cubicle has curtain but no floor delineation, so water splashes out into rest of bathroom. Instant hot water service is shared between adjoining ensuite, so if both are showering at the same time hot water supply is abruptly halved, which can be a very unpleasant surprise. Light/fan is timed push button, so will keep going long after you have exited the room. All ensuite sites have slabs. Park pool looked clean but is barely larger than a normal backyard pool. Friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff offered tourist advice, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money ($46 2A per night, ensuite, shoulder season). We paid $44 because of BIG4 member discount. Shade to most sites. Basic laundry, basic rec room, camp kitchen, car wash, dump point, secure entry, book swap available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3). Open & roomy park, plenty of shade. Clean UC gas bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Suitable for month or longer, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Likes: Clothes lines provided for ensuite sites.
Dislikes: Quite a bit of road noise for sites towards the front of the park.
Local Information: Park is at the southern end of the Swan Valley Wine and Food region.

Friendly staff, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money ($33 2A per night, powered, off-peak season). We paid $29.70 because of pensioner discount. Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to only some sites, cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, water pressure is bad, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, shade to most sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, good rec room, dump point, secure entry, book swap available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4). Quiet, claustrophobic park, too much shade, too many permanents. No playground, no pool. Suitable for few days.
Likes: Close proximity to Coogee Beach
Dislikes: No benches in the dry change areas. Old permanents make the park look untidy. Some of the concrete slabs are like patchwork quilts and need replacing.
Added Touches: Bingo and indoor bowls in the Recreation room.

You can see this park was a good park but due to a lack of ongoing maintenance you can see it is running down. Many of the people we met in our 2 stays over the last 2 months made the same comment as they had stayed previously. Most of the sites are just sand bogs. Average staff friendliness, bad staff response to complaints Poor value for money ($37.00 2A per night, powered, off-peak season). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to most sites, cleanliness was average, condition is poor, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, some level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, camp kitchen, kiosk, disabled facilities, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5). Peaceful, open & roomy park, not enough shade, a few permanents. Clean UC electric bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground in good condition. Clean pool, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for month or longer, suitable for families, park is considered kid-safe.
Likes: good camp kitchen and good size showers
Dislikes: lack of maintenance to the sites, lawn sites are a sand pit, with some lawn. Men's shower floor tiles have all the glaze worn off, some toilet seats have the shiny seal worn off, so not able to be cleaned properly, mould growing on cornicing at one end of shower block. They were refurbishing some grass sites area, but was obvious that ongoing maintenance would been better.
Parking: parking as you enter the park
Added Touches: sausage sizzle Monday nights gold coin donation
Local Information: good location to many areas of Perth with bus stops outside the park entrance.

$31 per night with Big4 discount. This has to be one of the best caravan parks in Australia. Easy to find as it is close to two major highways but far enough away not to get traffic noise. The park is well laid out with large reception area, kiosk and parking area separating the sites from the road. Large toilet block with roomy cubicles, good sized laundry, swimming pool, camp kitchen and TV room, all in excellent condition. Some sites have large paved slabs, some on grass. The park is laid out with lawns and trees and has a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a bus stop outside the park for transport into Perth and a shopping centre approximately 2 km away. Liked - free bacon and eggs on Father's Day

Friendly and helpful caretakers. The general caravan camping area needs a good renovation, clean but badly in need of a face lift. The new section for campervan / motor homes is very up market. En-suites are very good, ours had its own clothes line. Park is a 7 minute walk from one of the free buses, or use the bike track into town.

Reasonably friendly welcome. Barrier to get into the park which is located before the check in bays. Park is reasonable close to the main part of Fremantle but still a couple of miles away. Facilities are modern and clean. Park is well set up for motorhomes and backpacker vehicles. The whole park is not particularly well maintained and is screaming out for garden maintenance. Otherwise the sites are flat, some have nice concrete aprons, others on grassed areas separated by small trees and shrubs. At $35 for two adults, probably a bit expensive for the caravan part. Good showers. Our site had a clothes line located just outside the van - very handy. This park has the potential to be a five star facility, just lacks some care to the surrounds. Nice camp kitchen and BBQ's. Dump point provided - very basic. Very quiet park, no road noise. Close to Woolies and other shops/petrol/diesel. I would stay again, but wouldn't rush back.

Arrived on Friday night for a long weekend stay. On Saturday lunch time three loud couples moved into the sites around us. Despite a couple of polite requests from myself (and as I found out later a warning from the park manager) they kept making loud noise til after 11.30pm, and then did not finally quieten down until 2.00am. In the morning I complained to the manager. He was very disappointed to hear that they did not quieten down after his warning (and assurances from them that they would do so). The manager took prompt action to evict them from the park. Despite our difficult night, I was pleased to see a caravan park manager take decisive action. We will definitely stay there again, as I know that the park management will get rid of people seeking to spoil the good times of others. Friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, van parking assistance provided by staff, staff explained park layout and facilities. Price was as expected, reasonable value for money. Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to all sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area. Lovely park that is continually doing improvements. Likes: Treble concrete slab with position of van parking place marked. Met near site and allowed to choose suitable site. We had our van serviced one day and they marked our site with a 'reserved' sign in our absence. Unfortunately our car needed it's brakes replaced on the day we were to check out and they allowed an extremely late checkout in the circumstances when delays occurred in the repair job.
Local Information: Bus stop with an hourly bus through week days outside the park takes you to Stirling Station in 10 mins and ties in with train times to the city which also take 10 mins - the journey is only $3.70 for concession card holders to travel all day on public transport as far south as Mandurah. Amazing value - good on ya, Perth. Ferry from Hillarys to Rottnest has a free bus pick up from reception if requested.

Large, well maintained park in the suburb of Karringyup. Lovely setting with plenty of trees and a lake. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of cabins and tourist sites and a small number of permanents. Tourist sites are allocated by ground staff on day of arrival, and we were given a choice of sites. Assistance with parking is also offered. There are 3 amenity blocks plus 6 ensuite style amenities all of which are clean and in good condition. Good water pressure. Most tourist sites have double concrete slabs which are in excellent condition. Large playground alongside the good size camp kitchen and lake. There is also a large swimming pool, with chairs & tables and a jumping pillow. Book swap, video hire ($2) and internet kiosk. The bus to Stirling railway station stops right outside the park entrance, and the trains run every few minutes to Perth.

Stayed two weeks and over Easter. This is a huge park, but a lot of thought has gone into it. Families with children are up one end and the couples are on the other most of the time down the bottom part of the park, so was very quiet where we were. 4 amenity blocks 1 of which was close to us was the best as they had shower rooms with toilets rather than cubicles and 1 single toilet. Showers had glass doors Most of the time there was always some available in this peak season. You are given a choice of sites and taken there by one of the groundsmen who help you into site and was extremely helpful and bent over backwards to make sure you have everything you need. Very friendly staff, staff offered tourist advice, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money ($224.00 2A per week, powered) We paid $209.00 because of Top Tourist discount. Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to only some sites, cleanliness was average, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, separate bathroom, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Likes: The helpfulness of staff, the shower rooms and close to transport
Parking: Parking bay to left before boom gate enough for about 3 of rigs
Local Information: Bus just outside gate takes you to shopping centre and train station. Shopping centres everywhere in Perth. Cruise on the Swan River down to Fremantle, Bell Tower. Take a drive to New Norcia, the Benedictine Monastery town and do the tour, well worth it.

This is a big park, long and sloping downwards from North Beach Rd. The top few rows of sites are terraced across the slope and are mainly cabins with a few powered sites. Then there are a few rows of powered sites, mostly with triple-sized concrete slabs. Further down are more powered sites, some with normal concrete slabs, some just grass, then comes the grass sites, camping sites and, down by a lake, unpowered sites. It probably depends on where you are allocated as to what you would think of the park. We were on about the fourth terrace down, on triple sized slab surrounded by a few permanents and long- termers. It was the Easter holidays and, where we were, fairly quiet apart from a few children playing and traffic passing the end of the row to and from the lower levels. Down in the lower levels it was very crowded with lots of children playing, the camp kitchen appeared to be crowded and, I imagine the amenity blocks down there would be very much in demand. That's a general description now to the facts: Staff friendly and helpful (on arrival you are handed a plastic bag with maps and other tourist information), we were guided to, and onto, our site. There are four amenity blocks, a camp-kitchen with a large congregating area with tables etc, playground, jumping pillow, dump point, one of the best pool areas we have seen with a large swimming pool and a very warm spa pool. There is an internet cafe (coin in the slot) and tour bookings are obtainable from reception. Overall it is a well maintained, attractive park and suitable for staying a few days or more, especially away from peak periods (we stayed 10 days).

219 Midland Rd. From Midland, head S down Roe Hwy. Turn left at Kalamunda road. Turn left at Old Midland Road & Banksia is about 1 km up here on the left just past Clives restaurant. Ph: 08 9250 2398. Family Parks member. Pets at manager's discretion, on leash at all times.

Manager's name is Tammy. The park is well set out, and the toilets etc are kept clean, good access for all vans, can take large vans and also the 5th wheelers. Not far from major shopping areas, and only around 30 mins from Perth city. A little overpriced for the area. The smell unfortunately from the sewage pond on the park, which is directly opposite to some of the van parking lots was disgusting. On a hot day it would actually make you dry retch. What a shame for such a good park. Friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money ($38 2A per night, powered). We paid $35 because of Member of Family parks Australia. Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, separate bathroom. Inadequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to most sites, shade to most sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, dump point, secure entry, van parking, wireless internet is available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5). Quiet, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, too many permanents. Clean UC gas bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground in good condition. Clean pool is shaded.
Likes: Shady parking areas, cars can be parked alongside vans, good toilets and showers
Dislikes: Terrible smell from the sewage pond, which was close to van parking, if the wind was in the wrong direction it was unbearable
Parking: Plenty of room to park van and car whilst booking into site
Local Information: Good shopping at Midland shopping centre, and not far from Guildford where there are many restaurants and hotels, easy access to the city, and the Swan Valley winery areas.
Roads: Poor country road access, which has no lighting at night

No complaints here. First impressions driving in excellent, with the office staff very good and our site very good. Amenities large and clean. Seems to have a lot of permanents but all quiet (while we were there anyway except for Friday night I guess end of work week - but no problem). Felt very privileged staying there with our 2 toy poodles ($1 per night for one, 2nd one free) because most doggy caravan parks (and thank goodness there are some) are not normally of this standard. We are finding very few WA caravan parks accept dogs. Pity their owners don't do the right thing. The park is about half an hour from Perth city but there are other good shopping centres close by. We had 8 friends call to visit and were able to have coffee in the large recreation room adjacent to the TV room with pool table (they had to bring their own cups though). Fantastic area. The kiddies playground is good in fact couldn't see much wrong with the place. Oh yes, the septic smell but when you're out sightseeing you don't notice it anyway. There is a completely separate area up the back for the permanents with their 2 or 3 bedroom little cottages selling for around $160,000 so they aren't bothered with the travellers.

Manager's name is Tammy. This park is well located, pleasant surrounds, good sized sites. About 30 min from centre of Perth. My big issue was the septic pond which smelt disgusting when the wind was from the east. Friendly staff, staff offered tourist advice, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money ($38 2A per night, powered, off-peak season). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to most sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to most sites, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by. Good laundry, no camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5). Noisy, open & roomy park, plenty of shade. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to most sites, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, hard to negotiate into site, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Clean UC gas bbq ($1), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground in good condition. Clean pool. Suitable for a week or more.
Likes: very clean park though amenities didn't seemed to be cleaned the first few days we were there. The full concrete slabs were good. Good location to midland shops etc.
Dislikes: The office staff seemed a bit confused when we asked about all the different tariffs on the receipt. Not the parks fault but very windy at night as close to the hills. Just have to put awing up or tie it down well.

Manager's name is Tammy. I found the park to be over priced and if you complained about anything you were penalised. Tammy would try and stand over you and if she did not like you, you had no hope. The two ground maintenance men were over worked and could never get on top of the work. The toilet block was only cleaned once every day. They have a sewerage farm right next to the caravan site and everyone complained about the smell and Tammy would say if you don't like it move out. I ended up in hospital and Tammy sent a message with the maintenance man when he came to the hospital saying if I don't pay rent this week I'm out and she would go in my cabin and remove my gear. Bad staff response to complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Poor value for money ($290.00 2A per week, cabin, peak season). Amenity number would not cope in peak times, are close to only some sites, cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Inadequate number of tourist sites, some level sites, poor night lighting, concrete annex slabs to most sites, very few sites are shaded, hard to negotiate into site. Basic laundry, good rec room, van parking, no wireless internet available. Quiet, claustrophobic park, not enough shade, a few permanents. Clean UC gas bbq ($1.00). Friendly staff, good staff response to complaints. Poor value for money ($30 2A per night, powered, off-peak season). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, were dirty, condition is poor, water pressure is good, soap provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by. Dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5). Peaceful, claustrophobic park, too much shade, no permanents. No playground, no bbqs, no pool. Suitable for overnighter.
Likes: The park is church run and campers need to adhere to the church beliefs; no alcohol, no smoking, no drugs, no swearing. It is in a lovely setting under huge trees and most sites are grassy, it has a security gate with a $50 refundable bond for the swipe card. There is a facility to store vans/cars when holidaying elsewhere which is extremely reasonable.
Dislikes: The park facilities are very dated and looked like they were not regularly cleaned or even swept; and are a fair walk from all sites. For the age and state of the amenities we felt it was very over-priced; for the same nightly amount (albeit including park discount) we also stayed in a 4 Star resort within easy reach of the city (Perth) during our stay in the area. We were aware of highway noise during the night
Local Information: Very handy to the airport

Access also from Boulder St. Closest park to city, bus 5 mins walk away. Very friendly reception, explanation of area, shopping centres, transport etc provided. Sites of reasonable size, concrete annexe pads and separate pads for parking vehicles, but sites not quite level and nearly everyone needed wheel levellers. Grass generally worn and quite a bit of dirt on sites. Well shaded, good water and sullage to sites, good water pressure. Covered tent area on ground cloth. Permanents mainly grouped together away from most tourist sites. Access roads are narrow and some are dead ends, experienced difficulty getting a 23 foot van on site. No offer was made to help us park, but would probably have been forthcoming if we asked. Amenities block clean and well maintained, central to sites, good hot water but temperature tended to come and go at times. Showers reasonably roomy, no curtains, mop supplied, soap at hand basins but no driers or towels. Amenities adequate for numbers in park. Good laundry facilities. Other facilities include well equipped camp kitchen with BBQ, dump point, telephones at reception, swimming pool, tour info and bookings, Internet access but no wireless. Close to airport but noise only heard if wind blowing from that direction or if dead still, and was never a problem. $33 2A for powered site before discount reasonable given location.
