UPDATED REPORT NEEDED

Friendly staff on arrival, very basic park but the open fires (in season) are fantastic - you could almost believe you are free camping. Easy to park, sites are undefined so they are as big as you like, amenities are ok and price is as expected. Great for a stopover only as there is nothing else around the park except wildflowers in season...most of site, including kids play area and pool, in disrepair. Price was as expected, reasonable value for money ($24 2A 2C per night). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to all sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, large sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, no rec room. Peaceful, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, no permanents. Clean free wood bbq, in congenial bbq area. Basic playground in poor condition. Dirty pool, kid-safe pool area.
Likes: Open fires and few visitors.
Dislikes: Owners dog has free run of park.
Parking: Good parking whilst booking.
Roads: A few km gravel access.
Park Rating 2: Suitable for overnighter.

Cervantes Pinnacles Caravan Park, Cervantes
Aragon Street. Located on beach, 500m north of post office. Ph: 08 9652 7060. Dogs on leash.
There are no cabins with ensuites and only cold water piped into them. Average staff friendliness, staff explained park layout and facilities. Price was as expected, reasonable value for money ($80 2A C1 per night cabin). Amenity cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, mostly level sites, poor night lighting. Good laundry, basic rec room, good camp kitchen, kiosk. Quiet, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, family/friendly atmosphere. No playground, no pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, park is considered kid-safe.
Dislikes: For some of our stay we were there during a long weekend which was a huge mistake as despite their published rules of one car per site, the managers allowed many people to have two tents, three cars and a boat on a single site with the result being that 4WDs were parked in all of the access roads making driving around the park akin to negotiating an obstacle course.
Local Information: Great playground just outside the park and Nambung National Park with the amazing Pinnacles.

An older style park, rather run down and crowded, with many permanents vans that were mostly unoccupied. Friendly reception. Sites are grass or sand, a few with concrete pads. Good potable water and pressure, reasonable shade. Three amenities blocks, generally clean if a little tired, good hot water and pressure, one laundry with two washing machines and two driers. Amenities would be taxed at peak times. Other facilities include well stocked shop and cafe at reception, camp kitchen, free barbecues, fish cleaning. No toilet dump, dump available at refuse transfer station 1.5km away but open only in mornings. No pool, children's playground located just outside park. Telephone at reception, good mobile signal. Willowbrook Caravan Park, Gingin
Also called Willowbrook Farm Tearooms and Caravan Park. 1 hour north of Perth and 15 minutes from Guilderton, on highway 1. 17 kms out of Gingin on the Gingin Brook Road. Ph: 08 9575 7566. Dogs on leash.
Manager's name is Kaye & Harry. We stayed at this park from recommendations by fellow caravanners. As you enter the park there is a sign which reads "entrance fee - a smile". You are made to feel very welcome as soon as you arrive and if you enjoy a rustic environment then you will enjoy this park. Sadly it is becoming too much for the present owners as things are starting to deteriorate. We discovered that the owners have bought a retirement house and it would not surprise us to see this park on the market in the not too distant future. In its heyday it was obviously a fantastic park and with some TLC it could be brought back to its former state. This was evident with lots of electric cords going in all directions instead of adequate power points. If two vans were coming off the same power box then the power would constantly trip. The first night the shower was cold but the owners were on to this the next morning before we even had time to report the problem. Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff offered tourist advice, staff explained park layout and facilities. Price was higher than expected, reasonable value for money ($28 2A per night, powered, shoulder season). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, some level sites, good night lighting, large sites, drive-through sites, poor water quality, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. basic laundry, no rec room, late checkout allowed (past noon), disabled facilities, car wash, dump point. Peaceful, open and roomy, not enough shade, family/friendly atmosphere, no permanents. Clean UC gas bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground, no pool. Suitable for a few days, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Likes: Very welcoming owners.
Dislikes: The dry change area in the showers is always wet as the shower curtains are too short and the price at $28 per night is far too high for what you get. Although there are a single ladies, gents, and disabled toilet, the main amenity block is closed between 10.30 and 2.30 every day.
Parking: Out the front
Added Touches: Unlimited free beautiful scones, jam and cream on Sundays and BYO BBQ on Friday nights.
Local Information: The Gravity Centre and Cosmos Centre are just around the corner and well worth visiting. Gingin, Guilderton and Twin Rocks are all within easy distance.
Roads: Good

Manager's name is Harry and Kaye. Very friendly staff, staff offered tourist advice, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Price was as expected, reasonable value for money ($25 2A 2C per night, unpowered). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is bad, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Late checkout allowed (up to noon). Peaceful, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, family/friendly atmosphere. No bbqs, no playground, no pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Likes: Great management, free homemade scones and jam on Sun morning (which were excellent!). Beautiful trees to camp under, and very young child friendly. Not all camping spots had thru traffic (due to layout) so could let small children (i.e. under 5yo) wander a bit without worrying about cars in the park.
Added Touches: Sunday morning scones and jam, and Fri night bbq's when it's not bush fire season (we were there in season so can't comment).

Guilderton Caravan Park, Guilderton
94kms north of Perth. At the mouth of the Moore River, 500m south of post office. Turn right at the service station and follow the signs to 2 Dewar Street. Ph: 08 9577 1021. No pets allowed.
Council owned, but hosted by Jarrad and Danielle. Friendly reception, given a map and copious "rule book". Most of park is flat, but tent sites are on terraces at the back of the park. On the flat, sites are level and well shaded and the front rows newly turfed, making a pleasant change from sand and gravel. Concrete pad on each site, on which you park your van, with awning and car on the grass. Good potable water and sullage to sites, driveways a little narrow and of yellow sand. Central amenities block, modern and well maintained, with warm outdoor showers for removal of sand after swimming. Should be adequate for all except very peak times. Accessed by same magnetic key used to open boom gate. Shower cubicles are partitioned off inside the amenities, with some being closed off during the day to avoid too much sand going into drains. Cubicles varied in size, some roomy with a bench, others restricted in size and no bench. Good hot water and pressure, no curtains, mop provided, hand driers but no soap, Other facilities include camp kitchen, gas refills, recreation room, barbecue area, dump point. Public telephone and children's playground located just outside park. Mobile phone signal good in some parts of park, non-existent in others. Café with takeaways and small general store located just outside park, another store and service station with bakery located at entrance to town. Price of $27 2A for powered site considered reasonable. Suitable for short or long term stay, would be very crowded during summer holidays.
Likes: Location, quiet park.

Very friendly staff, staff explained park layout and facilities. Price was higher than expected, reasonable value for money ($27 2A per night powered). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, average sized sites, hard to negotiate into site. Good laundry, basic rec room, late checkout allowed (past noon), dump point, secure entry. Open & roomy park, family/friendly atmosphere. Clean UC gas bbq, congenial bbq area atmosphere. No playground, no pool. Suitable for month or longer, suitable for families, well maintained park.
Likes: This park is at a lovely location right beside the Moore River (calm waters) and the beach. The amenities are fairly new and very clean and well kept.
Dislikes: Access into and out of the park can get blocked by other traffic in the car park from which you have to enter. When vans are leaving they park outside the gate to return the gate/amenities keys and others can not get out of the park until they move.
Local Information: It is advisable to take plenty of food supplies when visiting Guilderton. There is a very small and very basic shop only. To buy grocery products you have to travel a fair way.

Jurien Bay Caravan Park, Jurien
Turn off Brand Highway approx 23 km north of Badgingarra. Roberts Road, 300m north-east of post office. The park is on the beach side of Bashford Street, entrance via Roberts Street at the beach end of the street. Ph: 08 9652 1595. Top Tourist member. Dogs on leash. Pets not permitted during peak times.
Reasonable park, close enough to Perth to be a family holiday destination. Park is right on the beach, and has a cafe attached. There are a lot of permanents, which form the core of the park, the tourist sites are mainly around the fence line. Tent sites look well grassed, some powered sites are gravel with a green cloth annex area, others are just gravel, but a lot of these latter are drive through. Two amenities blocks, showers were good with lowered wet area and shower curtain, dry area had bench and several hooks, although was a little small. Older amenities block was slightly tired with some peeling paint, but otherwise was in good condition. Massive jumping pillow looked extremely popular with kids. Average staff friendliness, staff explained park layout and facilities. Price was as expected, reasonable value for money ($31.50 2A per night, powered). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, average sized sites, no sites with concrete annex slabs, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Likes: Chair at clothesline to rest clothes basket on. Ladies' shower had plastic shelf thingy hanging over shower head, but not men's.
Dislikes: No ironing board available, office staff were a bit snooty when they were asked for one.
Added Touches: Bush balladeer Wednesday and Saturday afternoons (evenings in Summer), pass the hat around.

$23.40 per night with Top Tourist discount. Easy to find as the main highway runs past the park and is signposted. The park seems to be mainly permanent sites with a few tourist sites at the back of the park beside the road. The toilet block looked old and badly needed some refurbishment – tiles were missing from the showers. The roads are narrow and there was congestion when a few caravans were leaving at the same time. It is in a good location between the main road and the beach and a few minutes walk to the shops. A new shopping centre with IGA supermarket is next to the park.

This is an excellent park. Good for children as they have the largest inflatable pillow in the state. I even had a go, great fun! Lots of new cabins and the management was very good. A few dogs around including ours but no problems, all on a leash. We were there at a quiet time until the weekend when a lot of families turned up with their children. This was not a problem as they were nearly all at the other end of the park in cabins, tents or campers. We found the amenities excellent and very clean but wish they would clean them at any other time other than 9am! Access to shops and the beach was just a few minutes and the fishing was quiet good from the jetty. We stayed a week but could have stayed much longer. The sites were mostly drive through and most were on a very hard compacted road base material. I had to drill before hammering in pegs for the awning. The flooding problems have been addressed with drainage ditches at the entrance. Well worth a stay at this excellent park. Very friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff offered tourist advice, staff explained park layout and facilities. Price was as expected, very good value for money ($26 2A per night, powered, shoulder season). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, large sites, very few concrete annex slabs, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, late checkout allowed (up to noon), good camp kitchen, disabled facilities, dump point. Quiet, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, family/friendly atmosphere, a few permanents. Clean UC gas bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Excellent playground in good condition. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, park is considered kid-safe.
Likes: close to shops and beach. Amenities
Dislikes: Hard site surface, difficult to drive pegs in
Parking: Parking while booking in at office
Added Touches: Wednesday and Saturday, musician performed free
Local Information: Short trip to Pinnacles

Park was subject to some flooding whilst we were there. Management should take some steps to improve drainage and increase the low spots in tourist sites. Many new cabins look recently installed. Large grassed sites are available at rear of park. Average management, friendly management. Reasonable value for money. Good amenities, close to sites, were clean, were in good condition, water pressure was okay, there was adequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, sites were level, the site size was okay, annexe slabs were available, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Laundry, good camp kitchen, kiosk, dump point. Park atmosphere was okay, quiet, open and roomy park, family-friendly park. Clean bbq. Basic playground in good condition. Suitable for a week or more.
Likes: Walking distance to shops and beachfront. Better quality sites at rear of park. Not many permanents.
Dislikes: During heavy rain many sites at front of park were waterlogged.
Local Information: 2 jetties for fishing, good swimming beach.
Roads: Good quality bitumen roads.

$18.50. The park has small sites, and an amenities block which needs to be torn down. It says in the amenities that they are "due for renovation 2007/2008". These are some of the worst kept amenities we have encountered, not cleaned properly and actually falling apart. The park is full of permanent vans but is close to the beach and to the shops. There is a jumping pillow near the amenities, which seemed to be the only play equipment available to children. Poor value for money. Poor sites, sites were level, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Laundry, dump point. Poor atmosphere to park, too many permanents for this park.

This is a brilliant park for the family, it was school holidays so very noisy and busy. A huge Jumping pillow proves very popular with the kids, when we were at the park our kids lived at the pillow! There are 2 pubs across from the park which unfortunately play rather loud music on Fri and Sat nights until quite late, not sure about Sundays. One big let down was the shower blocks. They were cleaned in the mornings but due to the sandy area within moments the tiled floors were dirty again, toilet rolls ran out with no replacements available and they were a bit smelly. The men's showers were cold within a minute and this was found even trying them at different hours to avoid peak times, the ladies were hot enough, In my opinion at this time of year the toilets and showers could have done with more than one clean a day. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay here, the beach was so relaxing and the kids had a blast so we will be back at Christmas for 4 days. Friendly staff, average staff response to complaints, staff offered tourist advice, staff explained park layout and facilities. Price was as expected, good value for money ($31.00 2A 2C per night powered). Amenity number would not cope in peak times, are close to most sites, cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, hot water was usually adequate but not when busy, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, average sized sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, no rec room, good camp kitchen, kiosk. Noisy, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, family/friendly atmosphere. Clean free gas bbq in UC congenial area, bbq area lighting, seating provided. No playground, no pool. Suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Likes: This was fantastic for the kids as it boasts the largest jumping pillow in WA. Very close to the beach.
Dislikes: It was school hols when we visited but this should be no excuse for the fact that hubby didn't have a hot shower at any time for longer than a minute before it turned cold.
Parking: There is a bay to pull into whilst you run into the office.
Added Touches: Musician visits on Saturday afternoons, Jumping pillow, a cafe on site (cappuccino Mmmm).
Local Information: fishing at the jetty on the beach, swimming, Cervantes nearby and the Pinnacles, about 30 mins drive.
Roads: good roads, bitumen.

There were supposed to be barbeques, but there were none available, and we had to walk to the beach and spend 40 minutes cleaning the barbeque there before we could cook. The manager was super friendly, but super slow at booking us in. The sites were very small and very close to permanent vans. We paid for two powered sites but only got one, and since we had a large group of adults (10) the 'per person' charge was excessive, considering the lack of facilities and creature comforts. If they only charged $5 per adult per night, it would be worth the money. Friendly staff. Price was much higher than expected, poor value for money ($11 A1 per night powered). Inadequate number of amenities, are close to most sites, cleanliness was average, condition is good, water pressure is bad, there was adequate hot water. Inadequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, small sites, poor water quality, adequate taps close by. Poor laundry, no rec room, disabled facilities. Quiet, claustrophobic park, not enough shade, too many permanents. There was one really noisy annoying bird. Basic playground in poor condition. No pool. Suitable for overnighter, well maintained park.
Likes: The ablutions block had weather brushes on the bottoms of the doors to stop the bugs getting in.
Dislikes: They had no facilities for camp fires.
Local Information: The beach is close by. The town is only a short stroll away, and the bakery is to die for.
Roads: Roads good, easy to find.

Friendly staff, average staff response to complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Price was as expected, good value for money ($30 2A per night, powered). Amenity number would not cope in peak times, are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, average sized sites, no sites are shaded, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Late checkout allowed (up to noon), car wash, dump point. Open & roomy park, not enough shade, family/friendly atmosphere. Clean UC electric bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Clean pool is open to the sun, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for a week or more, well maintained park.
Likes: Lovely grassed sites, fairly easy to get into, and possibility of drive through if other site not occupied. Right next door to the local golf course.
Dislikes: No bottle recycling. Park is one way traffic, but on occasions some people liked to go the wrong way. BBQ's not adequate, very poor heating ability, and commented on by many campers. Management knew about the problem, but no solution was forthcoming. Beach is a long walk.
Parking: Good area to park at entrance whilst waiting to book in, and the reception/booking office is large and comfortable.

Manager's name is Annette & Darrell. Very friendly staff, staff offered tourist advice, van parking assistance provided by staff, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Price was as expected, reasonable value for money ($25 2A per night, powered, shoulder season). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to most sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, dry change area, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, average sized sites, concrete annex slabs to some sites, shade to most sites, adequate taps close by. Basic laundry, no rec room. Peaceful, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, family/friendly atmosphere, a few permanents. Clean UC gas bbq ($1), congenial bbq area atmosphere. Basic playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families.
Likes: Having stayed in this park 12 months previously, we decided to return to see why it had a bad report after our last submission. We found new manager's had started just over a week before we arrived and were very busy trying to rectify all the problems of the previous managers. Annette and Darrell we were active in the clean up, very friendly, and willing to help in any way they could, creating a very homely feel. They fully enforced the speed limit of the park, maintaining the peaceful atmosphere.
Dislikes: One of the ablution blocks is showing its age, and it is a little tricky to adjust the hot/cold water in the shower.
Parking: At the entrance to the park.

Manager's name is Val. Even though we informed the park that we would be bringing dogs, they were very unwelcoming of them and they had to stay on leads at all times (even when totally under our control, just hanging around near us). The manager even said that one of my dogs "bailed her up" (he is a small fluffy Pomeranian X). The staff continuously shot us evil looks. We felt so unwelcome that we left a day early and didn't bother to try to get a refund. My shower the first day was perfect, but the second day when they were running the washing machines next door, the water went from suddenly scalding hot to freezing cold. Very unfriendly staff. Price was as expected, reasonable value for money ($25 2A per night powered). Amenities are close to all sites, cleanliness was average, condition is good, water pressure is good, hot water was usually adequate but not when busy, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, average sized sites. No rec room, good camp kitchen, kiosk. Peaceful, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, too many permanents. Clean UC gas bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Basic playground. No pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Likes: Campers kitchen was good. It was more the company and good conversation than anything particularly good about the park that I enjoyed.
Dislikes: The manager and staff (her daughters perhaps?) were very unwelcoming and stared at us and gave us filthy looks. I don't think a park should pretend to be dog friendly and then make you feel guilty for having them there.
Roads: Fine.

Manager's name is Lorraine & Ian Cliff. Restful park - caters for the "Getaway from the City". Set on 7 acres - 100 meters to the beach. The park has units and cabins, 34 powered sites plus many permanents, but not many occupied when we were there. The whisper around town was that the park has been sold and the new owners want to expand the park and put more chalets there, which will stop it being dog friendly in off peak times. Friendly staff, staff offered tourist advice. Price was lower than expected, good value for money ($23 2A per night powered). Amenity number would not cope in peak times, are close to most sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, dry change area, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, average sized sites, shady, most had concrete annexe pad, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, kiosk. Peaceful, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, family/friendly atmosphere. Clean UC gas bbq ($1), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Likes: We went off peak, it was quiet and restful, close to the beach and walking distance to the small General Store and towns facilities.
Dislikes: No mop in showers. Water tap at the site was very low to the ground and not over a drain.
Parking: No
Added Touches: Fish Cleaning area, and a boat wash down area.
Local Information: Good little fishing town for water based activities, caters for the nearby mining town, farming community, and cray fishermen/fishing industry. Good for boat and beach fishing, swimming, snorkelling, diving and windsurfing. Town services cater for all basic needs with a small general store, post office, hardware, police and silver chain. But no chemist. Mobile phone service if you have "3G".
Roads: Excellent.

Moora Shire Caravan Park, Moora
North of New Norcia. Dandaragan Street. Located in centre of town, 1 block west of railway line (Watheroo Road). Ph: 08 9651 1401 or 0409 511 400. Council park. Dogs allowed on leash.
Owned by the council this is an attractive little park, easy to find (follow the signs), about 100 metres from the town centre. The layout is basically a circle with sites each side of the roadway, around an area of lawn and the amenity block, which includes female, men and disabled toilet and laundry. The park is unmanned. You find a site then ring the caretaker for the amenities code. Then you complete your details on an envelope, insert your fee and place it in a slot in the office door. All sites are bitumen, wide enough for van and annexe but fairly short. To get our 25ft Heritage on site we had to reverse until our wheels touched the back kerbing. There is not room to stay hitched excepting for a small stretch of roadway next to the tent sites. Sites are $21 per night, dogs are allowed (on a leash) and fees include free use of new washing machines, driers and BBQs. There are no other facilities but the park appears to be being renovated; there are new brick pathways and a building is being constructed near the current amenities. A pleasant place to stay, overnight or longer.

New Norcia Roadhouse, New Norcia

Really not a caravan park, just an area behind the roadhouse.
On the side of a hill behind the roadhouse. $7 for an unpowered site with the best sites up the back. Only 1 shower for all the share (in the roadhouse). Ok for the price - just.

Club Capricorn, Yanchep
Ph: 08 9561 1106. Average staff friendliness, staff explained park layout and facilities. Price was as expected, reasonable value for money ($20 2A 2C per night). Amenity number would not cope in peak times, are close to only some sites, cleanliness was average, condition is poor. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, shade to most sites. No rec room, late checkout allowed (up to noon), kiosk. Quiet, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, family/friendly atmosphere, a few permanents. Clean gas bbq ($1.00) Basic playground. Suitable for overnighter, suitable for families, park is considered kid-safe.
Likes: Proximity to Perth (less than 1 hr). Sand dune meets camping area at one end, is great for children to play on and run up and down. Some nice trees to camp under. Able to use resort's facilities (eg. pool). Management seem to keep a lid on noise, no problems at all. Walking distance to the beach.
Dislikes: Ablution block quite run down, and the one in the middle of the camp area has been closed down since my last visit in November (it was gross, so no huge loss, but if it was clean would have been convenient). Unfortunately there is also now a huge construction site (probably a land development) right next door to the park, so the easterly wind howls through in the mornings and brings sand and dirt with it. And it's wrecked the ambience of the nicer end of the park, as you now overlook bare sand.
