Managed by the district council.
We stayed a week, clean park, free laundry. If you had kids there
are two playgrounds across the road and tennis courts on site.
Friendly staff, staff offered tourist advice, staff explained park layout and facilities.
Very good value for money ($15 2A per night, powered).
Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to all sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, paper towels/dryer provided.
Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers,
no sites with annex slabs, no sites are shaded, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by.
Good laundry, no rec room, late checkout allowed, no wireless internet available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3).
Quiet, open & roomy park, no permanents.
No playground, no bbqs, no pool.
Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park.
Likes: It was cheap and free laundry and was close to an event we were attending.
Dislikes: No grass all road base which was soft when raining

Basically it is gravel carpark behind the Golf Museum. Pay at the council chambers or the United Service Station on weekends and after hours.
Water and sullage, but zero atmosphere. However, Bothwell is a terrific town to explore. The oldest golf course in the Southern Hemisphere.
Check out Ross Baker (traditional golf club maker) at the Bothwell Store in Alexander St.
Very good value for money ($15 2A per night, powered, peak season).
Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to all sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good,
there was adequate hot water.
Adequate number of tourist sites, some unlevel sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs,
no sites are shaded, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by.
Good laundry, no rec room, no wireless internet available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4).
Peaceful, open & roomy park, not enough shade, no permanents.
No playground, no bbqs, no pool.
Likes: Great base to explore and a top town if you like golf. Free laundry facilities. Share toilets with tourists.
Dislikes: Gravel. Would be hot in summer and I guess freezing in winter.

The sign said 24 hours only for a powered site and 48 hours unpowered. However, we saw 2 converted buses that had set up as a permanent camp,
complete with chooks. This area is only suitable for an overnight stay to recharge batteries and apart from the availability of power,
has nothing going for it. Showers and toilets are available for a fee but it really suits self contained rigs only.
Sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, no sites are shaded, adequate taps close by.
You can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3).
Quiet, open & roomy park, not enough shade, no permanents.
No playground, no bbqs, no pool.
Suitable for overnighter.
Likes: It is a great place to get free power. A donation is requested
Dislikes: It is an open gravel area in a town that has been bypassed by the highway.

No water to sites and no one cared.
Friendly staff, bad staff response to complaints.
Price was higher than expected, poor value for money ($20 2A per night, shoulder season).
Inadequate number of amenities, are close to only some sites, cleanliness was average, condition is poor, water pressure is bad, hot water was usually adequate but not when busy.
Inadequate number of tourist sites, some unlevel sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with concrete annex slabs, no sites are shaded, poor water quality.
Poor laundry, no rec room, late checkout allowed (up to noon).
Noisy, open & roomy park, not enough shade, no permanents.
No bbqs, no playground, no pool.
Suitable for overnighter.
Likes: Driving out the next day
Dislikes: No water to taps, practically living in the hotel car park. Toilets to use are at the back of the hotel and when the hotel shuts so do the showers and toilets.
Local Information: Great fishing (if only there was a good caravan park in the town).
