Next to the Murray River at the eastern end of the main town, just after the bowling club and oval. Easy to find.
We decided to treat ourselves on the last night of a trip, so booked an ensuite site (there are 6) and it was great. The caravan park is well set out and very
clean, as others have reported - among the best we have seen. Previously we have stayed at another chain's park in Renmark, but this park is much better in our opinion,
and TV reception is very good (aim roughly 200 degrees magnetic, vertical polarization). Most of the normal sites are flat, with a mix of concrete slab for the annexe,
or all grass, some drive-through. We had a sticky beak into the amenities block and laundry, and all were very clean.

This park is in the middle of a refurbishment, they are updating quite a lot of things. For a park in the middle of nowhere, it is a wonderful place to stop. It is the closest

Added Touches: Launch a small tinny, there are canoes and a fishing pontoon available, fish cleaning table

I do try and be nice on here but this place is a dump! The amenities are disgusting, dirty, old, cobwebs, cracked tiles in showers, mould.
You get the idea. The site itself is a sad mixture of mainly old permanents with broken awnings, unkempt sites with about 10 van sites carefully placed
where no grass has ever grown and never will. Roads are unmade and dusty. Whilst the bins were emptied during our stay, it was done by an open
trailer on a car where the rubbish from the bins was tipped into the back of it and then off to the next bin. Despite this the place has a lot of
potential right on the banks of the Murray with a little swimming beach. The site is well treed, offering shade in many areas. However it would take
a bulldozer to achieve that potential. It really is a shame that sites like this continue to exist. Given a 1 for location.

Likes: This park had some nice shade, there was plenty of room as there were only a few people there, It was nice and green.
Dislikes: We stayed at this park with friends because someone rated it 4.5. I don't think we could have been in the same park. There were dogs roaming
around, not under control, just messing. There are only 5 showers each, these would never be enough in peak time as they have to be shared with the permanents,
and some of the cabins, there are 55 sites as well. Behind the toilet block where they have some of the permanents, it looks like a shanty town, this needs to be tidied up to improve the park.

Friendly welcome and a few parking spots at reception. Sites are flat and there is access to some on grass, some on gravel and some on dirt.
Facility number seemed OK. The men's toilet (separate from showers) needs an upgrade and not cleaned regularly while we were there. However the showers were fairly
new and plenty of hot water and a good size for towelling off. The park backs on to a dead end road but is used occasionally for people going to work in the morning.
Nice grassed camping ground close to the river with good public bbq facilities. We enjoyed Morgan - a small, but interesting place with the bonus of the Murray
with plenty of water. Very popular for houseboats and water sports during summer. The mozzies were very friendly as were the locusts on the northern side of town.
Good mobile and internet access via Telstra. At $25 2A before the discount - good value. We would stay again and more than a few days next time.

Check in was a little bumpy as we had driven a long way, it was hot and we were tired but told our cabin wasn't ready (check in was at 2pm)
we were told to return at 3pm. With two kids in tow we went and sat by the waterfront for an hour before someone phoned us to tell us it was
ok to check in. With that little problem left behind, the lady was most apologetic and offered us some Tim Tams for our trouble. Let me say,
all that was well and truly forgotten when we pulled up to our riverfront cabin. When I say riverfront I mean you can literally be inside the
cabin and look right across the Murray it was priceless! The cabins have tables and chairs on the generous sized deck and we even had ducks
every morning up on the deck which the kids liked. Our two boys had a ball with the go karts, water bees, canoes, swimming pool, giant jumping
pillow and basketball area. They were a little let down with the games room, some games were out of order and most of them were the "win a prize type"
with the giant claw. They did have table tennis and a pool table but I think they could easily upgrade with a play-station, Wii and a few more games.
The swimming pool design was great and included a spa which the kids went in most days only downside was a couple of days it was cool and the pool was
freezing cold (no heating) and on those days people either froze in the pool or stayed clear of it all together. Many people commented on this while we
were there. But as there was so much to do, it wasn't a huge deal. You could fish in the river and they had plenty of bbqs and benches all along the
waterfront which was great. Lovely palm trees and green grassed areas all along the bank made it picture perfect. I did check out the camp kitchen
and it was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want including a TV. The riverfront cabins had a TV, DVD and were comfortable, with ceiling
fans and air con. I found all staff very friendly and helpful and the position of the park was just outstanding, really quite breathtaking by the river.
Friendly staff, good staff response to complaints

Beautiful setting on the Murray River but poor value for money compared to other river front parks in the region. We paid $28.00 for a
standard powered site (riverfront is extra), which is expensive given that the water is untreated river water and not suitable for drinking.
