Happy New Year to everyone. I hope we will all have a great year. We certainly have a lot to look forward to with Tutorials, Workshops, Demo Days and Art Shows at The Rotunda and at East Gippsland Art Gallery

Watercolour Tutorial |
Names on list at workshop or ring Betty or Margaret on 51575743. Theme is painting with a limited palette. Bring own reference or use the ones provided. Colours needed are Alizarin Crimson, French Ultramarine, Lemon Yellow, Burnt Sienna. 10.00 until 3pm each day |

Rotunda Art Show |
Members only. A painting will be selected from the entries and donated to the Hospital. The lucky member will be paid by the Society. Entry forms and raffle tickets will be out shortly. Roster for street sales please try to help with this, ring Jill Breen 51568576 |

Paul Margocsy Demo. |
Paul will be demonstrating at the Workshop from 10am until 3pm. Places limited so book at the Workshop with payment of $20.BYO lunch, tea and coffee will be provided. |

Ted Berry Tutorial |
Outdoors on Friday and at Workshop Saturday.10.00am until 3pm. Both days. Names on list at workshop or ring Betty on 51522325. Cost $20 a day or $30 for both days

BADAS On Show |
At The East Gippsland Art Gallery for 3 weeks from May 21.Members who previously have not exhibited at this Bi-annual event will have to lodge a resume and examples of their work to the Gallery. Block entry fee is $25 for a maximum of 4 paintings. Your work will be hung together space permitting so must be compatible.Opening night at 6pm by Ted Berry, exhibitors to provide a platter of nibbles. Contact Betty to enrol

The Society is negotiating with a local shop for hanging space on a regular basis. Participants will need to hang paintings in our library and enter them in the Black Book. They cannot be removed once they are hung at the shop. The change over period will be notified, maybe 1 or 2 monthly intervals. We have been looking for a venue for sometime so your support will be appreciated. Any queries talk to Betty |
