Callamooloo is renowned chiefly for its disproportionately large number of hairdressers, manicurists and plastic surgeons. This is not immediately obvious.

The city was founded in 1842 as the centre of a planned colony for free immigrants, promising settlers civil liberty and an all week casual dress code.The city now boasts a population of approximately 500,000 souls, and 750,000 bodies.
