Paine

The town of Paine has gone to great lengths to create the friendliest police force in the country. Accordingly, they have granted all their townsfolk specific rights via a People's Police Charter. Some of the Charter items include:

Cop on Board - stick on sign
  1. All police officers are required to give their name, badge number, star sign, and favourite breakfast cereal on request.
  2. All police officers are to fulfil any shopping or household cleaning requests by:
    1. any citizen proven to be over the age of 70.
    2. any citizen in the course of receiving a gratuity from said citizen.
    3. suspects inconvenienced by any officer's misspent inquiries
  3. All police officers are to spend one day a week working in a community organization.
  4. All police officers are to make their vehicles available to teach citizens driving skills.

Fact: All visiting Van Diemonians are quarantined for 14 days while they are tested for signs of vampirism.

A visit to Paine PD HQ is also an interesting experience with a Homicide & Therapeutic Massage Squad, a Forensic Sciences and Hair Salon, and interview rooms with fully catered public & corporate boxes. If you can't make it, then tune into PPD TV 34 - a cable channel that broadcasts the station's activities 24 hours a day - Sergeant Ron "Smiling" Gibson frequently hosts it.
