It is fabulous but I've only been once because of the vetting procedure. And frankly the body search was offensive and unnecessarily intrusive. Is it worth it? I suppose so.


Jed Rigby, our country's greatest playwright, selling flowers at Considine Station, Raglan. His punishment only lasts until October 1997 so catch him while you can. He happily autographs.

You can smell this cheese shop blocks away. The locals have tried to close it down for years but it still hasn't happened. Buy some nose plugs off one of the streetsellers and take a deep breath. They have over 400 different cheeses - some of them over 100 years old.


Finally, the Aisle of Caprice, Felix is an Arab owned Italian-style restaurant, with French staff dressed like Germans, that serves Japanese food from a latin menu with Chinese efficiency. Never busy.
