Seaport | Reaching the southern beach of Seaport, an old beachcomber tells us about a strange episode that took place almost thirty years ago.

No Diving Sign - Seaport Pier

An unconscious man was washed ashore wearing only bathers. When he awoke he claimed he was the Prime Minister of what he called the Commonwealth of Australia. This mysterious man became greenkeeper at the local golf club until, two years later, he committed suicide.

We had spent six months in this strange land and knew it was time to say goodbye to this enchanting land. Goodbye Australis, and have a good day.
