Druin | Our next stop was the battlefield of Druin in the tablelands of Ember. Upon this soil, a mighty conflict between two proud nation-states took place.

The fields of Druin

Korsakovia versus Ember

Korsakovia, a starved and desperate transvestite-nation greedy for their neighbour's mineral wealth. And Ember, their neighbour, a slave-state founded along Etonian lines had grown fat from the fruits of the land and prospered from the bounties of geology.

The differences between the two forces could not have been more stark.

The Korsakovian soldiers: grim, determined, bearded faces sat above folds of khaki coloured chiffon, diamante and organza, beautifully accessorized by strings of pearl and ammunition belts.

The Embling cavalry: conceited teenage gladiators dressed in dark frock coats and wing collared shirts riding to war in chariots drawn by small young boys in rags.

On the battered soil of Druin, in the dead of winter, the final outcome of this decade long conflict was conclusively won by Korsakovia.

Under the watchful eye of their captors, the defeated Emblings were forced to wear traditional Korsakovian ballgowns and makeup.

At the conclusion of the conflict, the Korsakovian Leader popularly dubbed "Mussolini in a frock", General Crystal De Love addressed his people from the balcony of the local dance hall.

General Love Wants You!

GENERAL CRYSTAL "BERT" DE LOVE
Our history is a history of forgetting. And once again, the time has come for us to forget the past, and to look forward to a better future. A future that will be forgotten faster than any in our nation's past.

To this day, local farmers working these fields still uncover rusting tiaras.
