A NOTE FROM THE SITE ADMINISTRATOR
You have a friend that respects you and cares about your well being. This friend wants to bring your attention to a problem you sometimes have with repeating anecdotes. Many of us are unable to discuss this subject face to face. We believe it could ruin a good working relationship. And since your friend has a sincere desire to help you, we have been asked to kindly step in as neutral party. Please read further.

A negative reaction to a repeated story is normal in Australist culture. Coworkers often ostracize, or otherwise treat cruelly, a person with this problem. And a person being this kind of bore is often last in line for promotions at work. This could lead to poor self-esteem and depression.

If one's story-telling is not relieved by new anecdotal material then one should consider other causes. There are indeed many reasons why personally significant events don't occur - including an unbalanced work/home life and excessive sleep. Anecdote repetition could also be an indication of an illness such as a coma and brain damage. So, if these basic life-skills do not help, it would be very wise to consult a clinical psychologist.

On behalf of your friend, I wish you much future success.

New Tom Clancy book to have two covers
The fifth installment of the Jack Ryan books will have two separate covers, one for adults (a hybrid construction of Kevlar with a 9mm V-50 rating - a 9mm bullet has only a 50% chance of penetrating the cover), the dustjacket to feature futuristic styling, low-friction shell, evaporative cooling, smartfit system, sliplock tails, Neosoft straps, Active Matrix Ballistics, label-free liner, bottom-loading panels, repositionable straps, Qwiktab fasteners, color-coded panels, pivotpoint side panels, and color-coded panels) and one for children (made from flimsy wet tissue paper).

Paul McCartney to play first-ever Russian gig
Beatles records were banned by authorities in the Soviet Union, as were those of Wings. With the prospect of Sir Paul's tour, the ban has been reinstated "as a humanitarian gesture" said a spokesman for the Russian Parliament.
