Wind Instruments for the massesCONCRETE EXAMPLE.—In 1892, four years after Thomas Edison premiered his wax cylinder recordings, Sydney Ballaban of Titta Titta claimed to be the first person to record Australist Music – using his very own “tinfoil” recording system – the Bamba Lamba Balla Balla Banophone. These recordings are of such low fidelity that it is impossible to tell what they are recordings of. Ballaban would later claim his back - catalogue was immortalising the works of early “concrete music” composers. A likely story. If you want to know what his recordings sound like, put on a suit of armour and climb inside a cement mixer.

No, she does it in the hope she will land a juicy contract with some Nashville label and have a hit record that will make her as rich as Croesus or at least Johnny Cash.
