ABSTRACT ART.—In its purest form Abstract art is a grant application written for the purpose of funding the creation of abstract concepts that have no regard to the production of paintings, drawings or sculptures.

CARTOON.—In the film world the animated cartoon consists of hundreds of thousands of drawings. Once complete the film"s characters and settings are then turned into hundreds of thousands of manufactured merchandise items.

FUTURISM.—Futurists tried to express motion, time, space and even states of mind – with paintings and sculptures – and often with their mouths full. This drove Father into a rage and he would send them to bed without any dinner.

The Monosyllabic Critics Association meets every month in the phone booth opposite the Cape Torque Gallery.IMPRESSIONISM.—Impressionists set out to paint the general impression of a scene with some parts vaguely represented, the whole effect being of something seen quickly for the first time. Or was it going to rain and they were just in a hurry to catch the last train?
