HOW TO GET THERE
· If you are travelling on the Western Ring Road (M80) take the Furlong Road exit and 
  turn right in Furlong Road. Keep on going straight ahead, cross over St. Albans Road 
  and  then cross the  railway line; the you have  a choice  of turning right in Willaton 
  Street which runs parallel to the railway line. Willaton Street then becomes Willis St.
  Keep going along Willis until cross over Levenia Street and you will be at the Eastern 
  entrance of V.U. and the Eastern car park. Then walk along the dotted line until you
  reach building 9 on your left.
· Alternatively after having crossed the railway line keep going straight and then turn
  left in Levenia Street. You will see the fence encircling the area of the University on
  your left. Drive straight along Levenia Street until you reach Willis Street. Turn left
  in Willis St and then go to car park. 
. If you travelling from Bell Street, turn right into the Tullamarine Freeway. When you
  reach the Calder Freeway keep going straight along the Calder and then take the 
  Western Ring Road exit and from here reach the Furlong Road exit as above.
· If you take the McKechnie Street entrance, the carpark is the Northern car park and 
  you need to drive along the road to get the Eastern car park.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The most direct means of public transport is by train which is a 1/2 hour journey from 
Flinders Street Station. From Flinders St Station you take Sydneham Line - Platform 4/5 
to get to St Albans. There is no direct bus service - buses do run to St Albans, however,
it would mean changing services say from city/footscay - footscray/st albans. The train 
station is a 10 minutes walk to St Albans campus. When disembarking from train at 
St Albans Station to the left hand side is McKechnie Street(VU is signposted at this point)
simply walk down McKechnie St to campus.   It is a very good service running every 
20 minutes between peak hours,   with only a slightly reduced timetable on  Sunday. 
Example departure times from Flinders St on Saturday - 7.56 am, 8.16, 8.36, 8.56 on 
Sunday - 7.47, 8.16, 8.56. The return journey is a similar schedule as it falls in peak time
