Treasurer’s Report: on Noticeboard. Apologies for April Financial report not being in Newsletter, as Treasurer has been away.
BMT Day fund-raising plus Raffle Quilt Funds came to nearly $1800. Committee rounded the BMT off to $1800. Budget Meeting was held Mon. 25 May. Annual Expenditure and Income are roughly equal. Treasurer will be away for two months; Allana to fill in. Financial Statement next month, but probably only a Balance the next.

2009 Exhibition:19th and 20th September at Siena College.It was agreed that the Raffle Quilt Funds be donated to Glenallen Special School for physically and multiply-handicapped children, Glen Waverley, toward the purchase of a “Cruiser’ trike. The trike is custom-made, at a cost of $3000, and allows children who lack the upper-body strength to sit on a normal trike, to benefit from and enjoy a trike.
Quilt-In: Please put your name down on one or two Rosters to assist smooth running.Traders include Always Quilting, Horizons of Hope Ministries and the Scissor Sharp man ($5 per item).Allana thanked those who have made the 160 Pin-cushions.
Skill Shares: August Sit ‘n Sew: Lexie Collins ‘Stash ‘n Slash’. Let Lexie know if you wish to join the workshop (max. 15). Bring 6 fat quarters, cutter, ruler, sewing-machine.

Gift Quilts: Mon. 20th July, Sit ‘n Sew, is Gift Quilt Day.
Retreat 2009: At Hepburn Springs Chalet. See Jacqy Wong. Wangaratta Weekend: Self-catered, so cost is only about $80 for the whole weekend. See Jacqy ASAP as she needs to confirm booking numbers.
30th ANIVERSARY LUNCHEON: Monday 16 November there will be a catered sit-down Luncheon in Hall. CALENDAR: Pam has sourced a printer in Echuca who quoted at about half- price. Committee has agreed to pay petrol and lunch costs for Pam to drive to Echuca. Megan Terry Award quilts will be photographed at Acorn Nurseries.
Valuing of AQA Quilt Collection: Presently being done by Vicquilters.
Dolly Day: Pam thanked Jean Price for organizing the annual ‘Dolly Day’ working-bee.
Other Business: Pam thanked Margaret Flemming for home-made scones which she provided for BMT.
