  • Retreat 2008

This will be held at the Hepburn Springs Chalet, from 10th - 12th October. The cost will be $210 per person for the weekend,
including food. They do not include Friday night dinner, so you will need to have tea before you come, or dine at one of the
many eating places in the area or on the way.
Hepburn Springs is only a few minutes from Daylesford, which has two lovely patchwork shops, as well as other attractions if
you want to do some exploring on Saturday.
However, we will have a nice room to sit and sew and chat, if you would prefer to do that.
(Please fill in the Application Form, and give it to me with a $10 booking fee (not refundable if you cancel, but taken off the
whole cost if you come), at the meeting or via mail to 1/19 Lime Ave Nth Balwyn 3104

I would like to come to the retreat in October. I include:
$10 booking fee (balance $200 to be paid on or before October meeting)
Full price of $210 for the weekend.
Accommodation:
I would prefer a single room (I can’t guarantee this, I’m afraid)

Notes about the retreat
1. If anyone is willing to give a lift to another member, to and from the retreat, could you please give me a ring? There may be people
who would like to go, but don’t feel like driving all the way by themselves. I’m sure an arrangement could be made to share petrol
costs.
2. If any members have any particular dietary requirements, could they please let me know so I can inform the management of the
Chalet in plenty of time.
3. Each room is twin share with an ensuite bathroom
4. We usually have a ‘dress-up’ evening after dinner on Saturday.
This year the theme is “marvellous hats”. This is not compulsory, but is usually a lot of fun; even if you don’t go to
any great efforts, it’s worth joining in.
