Quilt-in
A quilt in is where members gather for
a day to work together on their own individual projects.
Often members
from other quilt groups are invited to join AQA members for the
day. There is a cover charge, and morning and afternoon tea
are provided - just bring a mug and lunch All are welcome, bring along some show and tell and hand work to work on or just chat. There's a door prize, raffles and a speaker. Stall holders also are in attendance.

QUILT-IN 2008
Sat 12th July
Guest Speaker: Margaret Reehorn ( Vietnam Veterans Quilt Programme)
This activity allows us to invite Quilters from member groups and others to join us for a day of friendship and sharing.
Our guest speaker will speak about her involvement with the Vietnam Veterans Quilt project and I am sure you will find her to be a very interesting and inspirational speaker.
As in the past we will present a welcoming gift to all attending ,if you are able to help make some of these gifts(Patchwork Key Ring) please see Shirley or myself at the next meeting,we need about 140 to be made.
We will also have some traders to entice you ,a silent Auction of donated items, lots of door prizes and of course morning and afternoon tea .
Please put this date in your diary. Regards Pam
