Considerable research in the 1970s showed that Vitamin C intake in modern "western" diets is severely lacking, and over the long term this could result in numerous "diseases". Interest in Vitamin C has returned over the last few years, with new discoveries into how it acts within the human body (e.g. it is absorbed and excreted very quickly, so one is much better off taking Vitamin C in small levels over the course of the day, rather than 1 or 2 large doses, when trying to overcome illness). It has also been shown that sufficiently high levels of Vitamin C can kill cancer cells outside of the body, and although these levels can not generally be reached with oral intake, they can be via intravenous injection of Sodium Ascorbate (buffered Vitamin C), and several doctors in cities such as Melbourne, Victoria are now offering this service. Most of the new research and findings has been written up by Drs Steve Hickey and Hilary Roberts in the books available from here. A list of doctors providing IV service in Victoria is available online, along with links to other locations in Australia and some internationally.

Miracle Mineral Supplement (MMS) is what Jim Humble calls Sodium Chlorite (NaClO2), which is commonly used in industry for bleaching and disinfection. Jim reportedly cured himself of malaria using Sodium Chlorite "activated" by citric acid (vinegar, lemon juice, etc). Others have reported MMS as having been used to cure a number of different diseases, especially parasitic infections of all sorts. You can get more information on MMS from here, including an ebook that you can download that gives the basic information on it & the routine for taking it. You can also get MMS products from this Australian site. Protocols for how to treat new diseases (e.g. the current misnamed "swine flu") can also be found here. Note, however, that MMS and Vitamin C cancel each other out, so you should not take one within two-three hours of taking the other.
