Australian Design Awards is very proud of the level of innovation and quality of design produced in Victoria and Tasmania. Victoria is home to eight Australian Design Awards 19941995/1996 wining products as well as the winner of the Australian Design Award of the Year for 1994 and 1995. Winner of the Australian Design Award of the Year The EF Ford Falcon range of cars - The GLI, Futura, XR, Fairmont and Fairmont GHIA - are robust, high quality vehicles offering excellent value for money and innovative safety features. (A) Winners of an Australian Design Award Talarico Engineering Pty Ltd has developed the innovative and technologically advanced Ariazone 4001 electronic refrigerant processor for vehicle air conditioning systems. (B) The Axiom lighting control console by LSC Electronics Pty Ltd is a technically advanced range of small computerized lighting control desks offering innovative features, durability and attractive styling. (C) The Billi Filtration System is an integrated system that supplies water both chilled and near boiling, with boiler, chiller and filter all consoled under bench. (D) The Kambrook EcoKettle is a cordless electric kettle with a double walled body to keep water hotter longer, it is energy efficient and recyclable. (E) Paradigm Software Pty Ltd offers a well designed, integrated quality management software system suitable for large or small companies in either manufacturing or service industries. (F) Acme Fluid Handling Pty Ltd - VTM 100 & VTM 150 LPG turbine flow meters: These flow meters provide a cost-effective way to meter LPG on road tankers. The judges were impressed by the high quality of the engineering concepts and industrial design which had gone into developing this fine Australian product. (H) Gogas (Australia) Pty Ltd - Sealmaster LPG Nozzle: This nozzle makes filling up with auto LPG easy and safe. It is light to hold, ergonomically shaped to fit the hand better, operates with lighter pressure and seals more efficiently. (G)
