| The Puffing Billy Preservation Society manages the Puffing Billy Railway which is owned and operated by the Emerald Tourist Railway Board. The 24km line is the only surviving example of the four 762mm (2ft-6in) gauge line built in Victoria around the turn of the century. Since the restoration of the first section of line in 1962, millions of passengers have enjoyed the ride through cool fern gullies and forest country of the Dandenong Ranges. |
