Melbourne's combined Thai community
celebrated the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit's 72nd birthday with a Gala Dinner at the
Grand Hyatt Hotel on Sunday August 8 2004. $11,000, being
the proceeds raised
from this event, were donated to Her Majesty's SUPPORT
foundation.

Details of the event
A Gala Dinner was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel
at 123 Collins Street Melbourne. A sumptuous 3 course
meal with drinks ( Beers, wine and soft drinks) was served and first class entertainment
was provided by
artists from GMM Grammy Thailand - specially flying into
Melbourne for the evening- namely ZaZa, Khun Palaphorn
and Khun Poowanart
Attire
Dress for the evening was Thai Traditional
Costume or optional Black Tie
