The Astral Cabaret
presents
"ALL A'BAWD!!"
A zany evening of MEDIEVAL MUSICOMEDY premiering at this year's Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Set on ye olde Brunswick St in the fictionth century, "ALL A'BAWD!" is a crazy take on the classical comic mysteries.
Starring the Astral Cabaret's bawdy troubadours Madame Xenda, Catgut, Airguitario and Death, it's a riotous pageant of total
"TRANSCENDENTERTAINMENT"!
Madame Xenda, the Barmy Palmist

This crazed clairvoyant tells naughty fortunes, indulges in a romantic encounter with the Grim Reaper, and generally creates her own hilarious havoc throughout the show.

Catgut the Jester (Sophie Perillo) is a dizzying fool whose antics defy sobriety! "We found her gibbering in RMIT", explain the cast. "All we had to do was feed her and shove her on stage, and she goes really well! She does need a wash, but..."

Airguitario the Bard (Bec Elliott) is a witty, intelligent, handsome, debonair, courageous, inspired, arty wanker. His attempts to impress audiences at busy intersections with his musical prowess have earnt him many injuries. "The power of my music can reduce an audience to tears before the first chorus - most people are so moved they have to leave - how profound is that!" quoth the Bard.

The Astral Cab is sooo proud to introduce it's newest member, Death, making his stage debut as Hamish Walker. "Well I've been stuck in a dead-end job for a long time, and totally bored with stalking ambulances", explains Death, "I needed a change of image - naturally I chose Standup Comedy, so that if audiences die at the show, at least they'll be laughing!"
