Policy statements

Statements of Government policy are identified by a crest icon. Details of policy documents from which these statements have been derived are at Appendix 2B. Below is an example of a typical footnoted policy statement.

Secretaries of Departments and heads of statutory bodies are accountable for the planning, management and performance of service delivery assets under their control.1

Any policy in this document not identified as Government policy should be interpreted as an administrative policy.
