The ASOG is an amateur astronomy club in the city of Geelong, Victoria located at the Geelong Show grounds. We are dedicated to all aspects of the hobby. Our social meetings are held on every Friday night at 7:30pm and anyone is most welcome to come along and have a coffee. You will find contact information on the Committee Page to arrange a visit. We would be glad to answer any questions that you might have about the hobby, or to help you with the setting up of your equipment etc. The last Friday of every month is our clubs formal meeting and is held at the same time of 7:30pm. About every 4 months we have a Dark Sky weekend at Moranghurk Homestead in Lethbridge just outside Geelong and we welcome all who would like to come and join us in this fantastic weekend of astronomy, you can find all the information regarding our Dark sky weekend on the events page.
